The human behind the cat

Charlie and Kaizer

My name is Charlie Giessing, writer and illustrator of Kat Kaizer comics.
I'm a forever 20 years old, danish girl with too much time, and too little to do.

Born on the countryside with a lot of animals, with two big brothers, the Amiga loving one who presented me the furry fandom, and the Buddhist who worships Linux.
Now living in the city, but still sits in front of the computer driking cola and smoking too many cigarettes.

I roam the internet, and especially many danish communyties, by the nick Giesji, from Giessing.
Being a creative cat person with many years of using Photoshop, and a internet addictive, a comic had to be born.

I made the very first Kat Kaizer "Bank" comic 26th april 2008, based on an authentic event written on notallwaysright.com. I asume most comic writers get their inspiration, many idears pops up in my daily life.
Being a very big fan of Hyper Death Babies webcomic, the black humour is also very essensial in Kat Kaizer. If your can't find any sense in it, it might be the whole idea.

All the comics is purely made in Photoshop, with a collage like style, bad cutouts and simple black and white, colors only added if nessesary.
Very few of the comics is drawn. Not because I can't draw, but I'm just too damn lazy to do it every time. And I have a passion for making my socalled Photoshopped 'IRL Furries', with animal heads on human bodies.

You might find some comics in danish. Thats simply because the joke only works with the danish laungage.
